Jazmine
Jazmine is a Quarter Horse mare who came to Pegasus in March of 2022; relinquished by her most recent owner. We were told she was purchased a year before, but the owner was having difficulty putting weight on her. Jazmine was very thin, despite sincere but poorly informed efforts. In short order, we got Jazmine looking and feeling great. Once she had gained appropriate weight, we began trying her under saddle. She was broke to ride, but a bit bracey and pushy. With some consistent work, Jazmine has proven to be a solid-minded girl. At 24 years old, she has a little arthritis and will need to be ridden lightly, but Jazmine will make a nice horse for the weekend rider who wants to stroll down the trail on a pretty little partner.
