Jax
Jax is a 8-year-old Appaloosa x Quarter Horse gelding. We rescued Jax as a foal in April 2016 as part of the Phoenix Herd. When we took in this abandoned herd of fifteen horses and miniature donkeys, they were all basically feral. Jax had some injuries early on that delayed his saddle training. But once we got him sound, he started like a champ and has developed into a very nice riding horse. Jax is a total cuddle bug and loves attention. He is playful yet well-mannered, stands nicely for the vet and farrier, and loads in a trailer without issue. Jax also gets along well with other horses in his pasture, both mares and geldings. This leggy boy stands just over 15.1 hands tall and has gaits that will put a smile on your face. Jax needs a rider with some experience to help continue his journey to become the best he can be.
